Construction worker crushed to death in Truganina

It is understood the 31-year-old was operating the elevated work platform about 5pm on 4 January when he was crushed between the machine and a roof purlin.

The deceased was found by colleagues the following morning.

WorkSafe is investigating.

The death is the first workplace fatality of 2023.
