Meet Simon: A Happy
Very few things in life are better than owning a dog. Being a dog owner means you're going to be constantly showered with unconditional love. It doesn't matter how long you've been gone, one hour or all day at work, when you return it's nothing but excitement for them and for you. You can experience this joy and excitement when you meet and adopt Simon from the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas.
Of course, being a dog owner means you've got to be responsible too - spay or neuter them, feed them, give them clean water, keep them out of extreme elements, get them vaccinated and interact with them and keep them challenged.
When you meet Simon, you'll quickly learn he's a ball-loving, ball-chasing kind of dog. He's right at a year old and tips the scale at a healthy 40 pounds. He also loves to go on walks and to the dog park. Pets Fur People's executive director Gayle Helms believes Simon would make a great family dog because of his size and love for children.
Simon will go home with a starter kit of food along with a big fluffy dog bed, a collar and a leash. In addition, Simon will receive a certificate for half-price basic obedience training from Tyler Obedience Training Club.
